Fires Damage Two Local Homes

Columbus fire officials say arson is the cause of a blaze at a vacant duplex on South Eureka Avenue early this morning. No injuries are reported, and damage is estimated at 25-thousand dollars. Fire officials also say a house fire on nearby North Algonquin Avenue was sparked by the use of several propane heaters. The man inside escaped without injury. Fire officials say the home was destroyed.
