The first class of trained outreach workers in the recently formed CelebrateOne Community Connector Corps has graduated. Columbus Public Health spokesperson Jose Rodriguez says the program was created to improve healthcare access and outcomes for infants.
Rodriguez says the workers will go door to door in 8 targeted neighborhoods and speak to parents about infant mortality, and what steps they can take to prevent it.
