FitzGerald Names New Running Mate

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Ed FitzGerald has chosen a Dayton-area attorney who supports abortion rights as his running mate. Sharen Neuhardt made two failed bids for Congress, in 2008 and 2012. She brings geographic and gender diversity to the ticket. Neuhardt graduated from Georgetown University's law school and is a partner at a Dayton law firm. State Senator Eric Kearney left the ticket a little more than a month ago amid tax problems.  FitzGerald's campaign made the announcement today in e-mails sent to supporters.
