Florida football coach Will Muschamp says Ohio State University reported the Gators for possible NCAA violations. Muschamp said yesterday no violations were found by the NCAA or the Southeastern Conference. He then said "We appreciated our friends from Ohio making sure we're compliant with NCAA rules. They certainly know a little bit about that subject." Ohio State was banned from the postseason last year for NCAA violations. The Buckeyes reportedly turned in a Florida assistant for having contact with a recruit during an impermissible time and for a Gator player giving another recruit a ride to campus. Ohio State coach Urban Meyer, Muschamp's predecessor at Florida, has denied being directly involved in reporting Florida.
