Fog Causes I-70 Pileup

The State Highway Patrol says as many as 20 vehicles crashed early this morning in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 near the Route 41 exit east of Springfield.A dispatcher says some injuries are reported, but she did not know how serious they are. The patrol says dense fog caused the crashes near the exit to a large area flea market where traffic had backed up.
