Forbes: Browns, Bengals Near Bottom Of NFL In Team Value

WCBE files

The Cleveland Browns are valued at 1.5 billion dollars, among the lowest of the National Football League teams. Forbes Magazine released its annual list of team values this week. It ranks the Browns 25th out of 32 teams. The Cincinnati Bengals are ranked 29th, with a value of nearly 1.5 billion dollars. The Dallas Cowboys top the list at over 4 billion dollars. All of the teams except for the publicly-owned Green Bay Packers are owned by billionaires and play in taxpayer funded stadiums. The magazine uses ticket revenue, television contracts and non-NFL events to set the values.
