Former Acting Laurelville Police Chief Sentenced

A Hocking County judge has sentenced former acting Laurelville police chief Frank Diamond to five years probation for buying used police cruisers for himself and his co-defendant. Diamond and former Laurelville police chief James Taylor bought two Pike County cruisers for 100 dollars each and later sold them for profit. Taylor was sentenced last year to one year of probation. Both surrendered their peace officer certificate.
