Former Brown Rucker Gets 21 Months In Prison

cleveland.com

Former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Reggie Rucker will serve 21 months in prison for stealing more than 100 thousand dollars from two charities to finance gambling debts and personal expenses. The 68-year-old must also pay restitution.  He was executive director for a Cleveland-based charity and had a lead role with an anti-gang violence group. Rucker's attorney says  his gambling addiction was related to football-related brain injuries that caused a loss of impulse control.
