Former Clerk Of Courts, Husband Indicted

Former Fairfield County Clerk of Courts Deborah Smally and her husband Dave have been indicted by a grand jury on a combined 19 criminal counts, including public corruption, theft in office and perjury. Deborah Smalley is accused of forcing employees to campaign for her on county time. She has resigned under pressure from the county Republican party. Dave Smalley is accused of removing items from her office.
