A federal judge has sentenced the former head of the Cleveland and Chicago schools to more than four years in prison for steering 23 million dollars in Chicago contracts to education firms in exchange for more than 2 million dollars in bribes and kickbacks. 68-year-old Barbara Byrd-Bennett was sentenced Friday in Chicago.
