Former County Clerk Of Courts' Husband Sentenced

The husband of former Republican Fairfield County Clerk of Courts Deborah Smalley has been sentenced to 90 days in jail and fined 4 thousand dollars after pleading guilty to a theft in office charge.  Prosecutors say David Smalley and his wife stole thousands of dollars in salaries by paying county employees to work on her political campaigns.  Deborah Smalley was recently sentenced to 18 months in prison.
