Former Football Player Sues BGSU

A former Bowling Green State University football player is suing the school, head coach Dave Clawson and team trainersover multiple concucssions he says he sustained during practice that could have been prevented and were not treated properly. Cody Silk says he had short-term memory loss and other symptoms. The suit alleges the school violated NCAA concussion and head trauma protocols. The university declined comment due to the ongoing litigation. Silk eventually dropped out of school and his scholarship was revoked.
