Former Hilliard Charter School Director Facing Criminal Charges

Hilliard police have charged a former charter school director  with theft and other counts. Police say Leah Mohiuddin stole money and property from the Sunrise Academy between 2008 and 2013. Police say Mohiuddin paid herself 39 thousand dollars in excess salary, made 28 thousand dollars in unauthorized bank withdrawals, and made more than 14 thousand dollars in gift card purchases. Police have also issued an arrest warrant for former teacher Casey Goleb, who was paid nearly 199 thousand dollars n salary and benefits through an agreement with Hilliard City Schools to provide an english language program that did not operate.
