Former Mt. Sterling Administrator Sentenced To Ten Years In Prison

The former Mt. Sterling village administrator has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for stealing nearly one million dollars from the village. Prosecutors say 46-year-old Joseph Johnson made unauthorized credit card purchases and shuffled funds among different accounts. Johnson's plea deal requires him to forfeit five vehicles and his home to help make more than 700 thousand dollars restitution.
