Former Ohio House Member Mallory Passes Away

The family of former Ohio House Majority Leader William Mallory says today the Democrat has died in Cincinnati at the age of 82. An official cause of death has yet to be released. The father of Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory was the first African-American House Majority Leader and the longest-serving House member in state history. Current House Minority Leader Tracy Heard and Representative Denise Driehaus talked with reporters today about Mallory.

Elected in 1966, Mallory served in the Ohio House for 28 years.
