Former OHP Commander Pleads Not Guilty To Stalking And Other Charges

The former Ohio Highway Patrol commander and Delaware police officer accused of stalking a subordinate's wife after an affair has pleaded not guilty to abduction, criminal trespassing and other charges. 47-year-old William Elschlager is on home confinement pending a trial scheduled for August 3.  Elschlager was fired from the Marietta post after officials learned about the allegations. He was charged separately with stealing two guns in evidence that were supposed to be destroyed or returned when he was a Delaware cop.
