The former Wright State University professor and Oakwood school board president convicted of collecting child pornography has been sentenced to 15 months in federal prison. 77-year-old James Uphoff pleaded guilty last year to collecting more than 500 images and hundreds of stories about pedophilia. Uphoff has been recognized for more than 40 years as a leading expert on early childhood education. He also volunteered as a courtroom advocate for abused and neglected children.
