Former Put-In-Bay Police Chief Convicted For Disorderly Conduct

Fired Put-In-Bay police chief Ric Lampela has been convicted on a disorderly conduct charge after being cleared of aggravated menacing over a confrontation with two officers five years ago.   An Ottawa County judge has fined Lampela 150 dollars. He was cleared on dereliction of duty and falsification charges earlier this week.
