Former Ottawa County Sheriff Bob Bratton has been charged with spending 5 thousand dollars in government funds on personal items including clothing, prescription medicine and tickets for Cedar Point amusement park. The money was designed to pay for law enforcement needs. The 60-year-old current police chief of Genoa submitted his retirement papers yesterday when charges were filed.
