Former State Budget Chief Among Four Finalists For PUCO Seat

The four finalists recommended for a soon-to-be-vacated seat on the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio include a former state budget director and the commission's utility-rate administrator. The finalists are utility-rate administrator Patrick Donlon and Tom Johnson, budget director under former Governor Bob Taft. Toledo City Council member Tom Waniewski and Cleveland attorney Stacey Polk are also finalists to fill the seat vacated by commission chair Todd Snitchler, who decided not to seek reappointment when his term expires April 10th.Governor John Kasich will choose from the list or ask for a new one.
