A staff attorney for the late former Ohio Democratic Congressman Jim Traficant has been sentenced to three years in prison and 830 thousand dollars restitution after pleading guilty to bank fraud charges in connection with a mortgage investment scam. 52-year-old R. Allen Sinclair Sinclair made headlines in 2002 when he testified at Traficant's corruption trial. Traficant served seven years in prison on bribery and other charges. He died in 2014 after a tractor tipped over on him at his farm.
