Former Whetstone High School principal Amy Dennis, who is implicated in the Columbus City Schools' attendance data-fixing scandal, has agreed not to re-obtain her state licenses.
Dennis' five-year principal license, teaching license and handicapped teaching license won't be reissued under the agreement with the Ohio Department of Education. Dennis deleted 67 hundred student absences to remove poor proficiency test scores and improve the school's state school report cards. She resigned in October 2013. Five other administrators implicated in the scandal are trying to keep their licenses.
