Foster Boy Injured Trying To Kill Family

A 14-year-old foster child from Franklin County has been arrested on delinquency charges of attempted murder and arson after Butler County authorities say he tried to kill his foster family by setting their Wayne Township house on fire Wednesday night. The boy is behind bars after being taken to a hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation and minor burns. Five adults in the home escaped unharmed.
