Four Charged In Apartment Complex Shootout

Franklin County Sheriff's deputies say one man was shot and wounded in a shootout at an East side apartment complex on Saturday. Deputies say 18-year-old Justin Fairbanks was wounded in an exchange of gunfire at the Cross Key Apartment complex on Chatterton Road. Deputies say Fairbanks was shot after returning to the complex with 20-year-old Ravin Mays, who was attempting to vandalize some of the apartment units. Deputies have charged 45-year-old Nils Williams with shooting Fairbanks. Williams remains at-large. Mays, Fairbanks, and 24-year-old Corey Lowe have also been charged.
