Franklin County Settles More Excessive Force Lawsuits

Franklin County has agreed to settle excessive use of force lawsuits filed by four former county jail inmates who were shocked with tasers.

The nearly 62-thousand dollars in total payouts come on top of four other lawsuits settled in the past year totaling more than 126-thousand. The plaintiff's attorneys say they reviewed videotapes of prisoners being forcibly stripped in front of deputies of the opposite sex and shocked with tasers.
