Plans are in the works to renovate a former warehouse in Franklinton for use as a place to launch new businesses. A 350-thousand-dollar grant from ArtPlace America will help the Franklinton Development Association convert the West State Street motorcycle warehouse into the Columbus Idea Foundry, a for-profit business incubator. The incubator would provide people with tools and training to make innovative products. The foundry would move into the site by the end of the year.
