French Say Tourists Should Avoid Three Ohio Cities

City officials and business leaders in three Cleveland suburbs say they want an apology after the French government put them on a list of communities tourists should avoid.Cleveland Heights, Euclid and Lakewood are among 15 U.S. cities listed on the French Foreign Ministry website as dangerous. Officials call the assessments foolish and unjustified. A spokesperson for the French Consulate in Chicago says it is looking into how and why the cities got on the list.
