Civilian workers at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton are not yet safe from furloughs, despite the deal to avoid the so-called fiscal cliff.
U.S. military officials say spending cuts are on hold until March, but they'll happen if Congress doesn't have a deficit-reduction plan in place by then. The furloughs would affect nearly 17-thousand civilian workers.
