Gas Company Fined For Explosions

Dominion East Ohio Gas will pay a large fine for its role in last year's explosions and fires in Fairport Harbor.

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio has fined the company 500-thousand dollars for failing to maintain the faulty natural gas pressure regulator blamed for the blasts. The resulting fires caused more than one-million dollars in damage to 160 homes
