Gas Company Using New Meter-Reading Technology

Columbia Gas customers in Central Ohio will no longer receive estimated bills.

The utility is trotting out new meter-reading technology that allows workers to gather data remotely as they drive by customers' homes.  New gas meters with radio signals have been installed in more than 500-thousand homes over the past three years.
