Hundreds of Perry County residents have been evacuated to an emergency shelter because of a gas leak. Crooksville firefighters say 700 people living within a mile-and-a-half of Watt Hill Road and State Route 93 were evacuated last night after a major transmission line broke. The cause is under investigation.
