Gee Gets Generous Retirement Package

Ohio State University has announced a 5.8 million dollar retirement package for former president Gordon Gee, following his departure for his comments against Notre Dame, Roman Catholics and Southeastern Conference schools. The five-year contract includes a one-time payment of 1.5 million and an annual salary of 410 thousand dollars. The deal gives Gee a 300 thousand dollar annual grant for research on 21st century education policy and retains him as a full professor in the College of Law. Gee retired July 1st.
