GOP Wants Fairfield County Official To Resign

Fairfield County Republican Party leaders are calling on GOP County Clerk of Courts Deborah Smalley to resign after State Auditor David Yost said he would investigate the office. Auditor’s investigators and a special prosecutor probing allegations by former employees that Smalley misspent public money on her political campaigns. Smalley denies the allegations.
