For the second straight year, Ohio Governor John Kasich has authorized an additional 1-million dollar appropriation for the Ohio Association of Foodbanks to meet a growing demand.The money from the state's Temporary Assistance to Needy Families fund goes to more than 33-hundred pantries, soup kitchens and shelters. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services will distribute the money at a time when the economy is improving but many are struggling to find jobs and feed their families.
