Grants Funding Regional Sexual Assault Coordinators

The Ohio Attorney General's office has begun funding new regional sexual assault coordinators to oversee direct and comprehensive services for victims. 52 of Ohio's 88 counties do not offer such services. The office has provided Ohio University 32 thousand dollars to provide services throughout Meigs and Perry counties, part of a five year, 1.5 million dollar statewide project. The Helpline of Delaware and Morrow Counties gets 32 thousand dollars to provide services throughout Crawford and Wyandot counties. The money for the grants comes from the federal government.
