Granville Schools Replacing Some Water Fountains Amid High Lead Levels

granvilleschools.org

Water fixtures in the Granville Exempted Village school district will be replaced after testing found elevated levels of lead. The district is planning to replace fountains older than 1990 and put lead free fittings on the rest.  A water filter will also be added to each fountain.  Fixtures throughout the district tested for elevated levels earlier this month but most were below the federally acceptable limit.
