Buses are back on the streets today in Dayton after Greater Dayton RTA bus drivers and mechanics reached a tentative contract agreement yesterday, ending a strike that began on Monday. Terms have not been disclosed and the two sides must still ratify the deal. Pay, working conditions and health care costs were among the sticking points during the previous eight months of negotiations.
