Group Raised Millions For CCS Levy Campaign

Campaign finance reports show the group that pushed for passage of the Columbus City Schools levy raised more than 3 million dollars for the effort.Reimagine Columbus Education was funded primarily by local businesses, including American Electric Power, Nationwide Insurance, Cardinal Health, and L Brands. Unions also contributed to the campaign. Two groups that opposed the levy raised a combined total of nearly 6 thousand dollars. Voters soundly rejected the levy last month.
