Groups Working To Get Ohioans Registered To Vote
The deadline for Ohioans to register to vote in the November election is October 9th.
Voting information is available through county boards of election and at the Secretary of State's website. Several groups are working to get Ohio's 2-point-8 million unregistered voters onto the rolls, including The Voter Participation Center, which calls itself a non-partisan organiztion. Republicans accuse The Voter Participation Center of being an organization funded by Democrats. Center officials deny that. Chief Operating Officer Gail Kitch says her organization is targeting specific groups.
