Groveport-Madison Schools Examining Proposed Cuts

Deep cuts are looming over the Groveport Madison Schools if voters say no to a request for new money next week. District officials say high school busing and nearly 20 teachers will be cut if the levy fails. The nearly 3 million dollars in proposed cuts include reducing several athletic teams to club status, leaving families to pay for them. The school board is expected to vote on the cuts in mid May.
