A Franklin County Judge has sentenced a Columbus man to 24 years in prison after pleading guilty to charges of repeatedly firing a weapon into a Franklinton duplex and killing one resident. 26-year-old Joseph Chrysinger was seeking revenge from a robbery at his apartment when he fired into the Dana Avenue duplex in November 2011. He thought the man responsible for the robbery lived there. 23-year-old Christopher Carroll was killed. Chrysinger's half brother, 20-year-old Eric Jumper, also pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
