Hamilton County Judge Facing New Charge

Hamilton County Juvenile Court Judge Tracie Hunter has been indicted on a new felony charge.  Prosecutors say the judge used a court-issued credit card to pay legal fees. She was convicted in October of unlawful interest in a public contract.  Hunter is scheduled to go on trial in June on eight other charges, including tampering with evidence, forgery and theft in office, after a jury faied to reach a verdict last year. Hunter, a Democrat, has said the charges filed by the Republican county prosecutor are politically motivated.
