Hickory Farms' Move Out Of Ohio Draws Protests

Hickory Farms' plan to move its headquarters from Toledo to Chicago is drawing protests. A group of young professionals gathered over the weekend in Toledo to rally against the specialty-foods maker, particularly the company's statement that they'll find better workers in Illinois.  The group says there are plenty of good workers in Toledo who can help Hickory Farms grow. The company says the movewill bring it closer to its parent company, its distribution center in Joliet. and help it attract employees who can help grow the business. Hickory Farms got its start in Toledo in 1951.
