Higher Cincinnati Murder Rate

Cincinnati police say they are keeping a closer watch on repeat offenders and working hard to get more information from victims of violent crime. The murder rate in Cincinnati so far this year is ahead of last year's pace. Police have investigated 29 murders so far this year, compared with 19 at this time in 2012.
