Hilliard Couple Sentenced In Mortgage Fraud Scheme

A Hilliard woman will serve 5 and a half years in prison for a multi-state mortgage fraud scheme that cost the victims 9 million dollars. Federal prosecutors say 51-year-old Deborah Kistner, owner of Premiere Title in Hilliard, arranged for investors to buy new homes with inflated loans and accepted kickbacks between June 2006 and July 2010. She was sentenced Wednesday along with her 52-year-old husband Mark, who got three years probation. The couple pleaded guilty after their cases went to trial.
