Holiday Programming on WCBE 90.5 FM!

Happy Holidays! Here are all of the radio specials coming your way, from WCBE to you, on December 25th! Eat, drink, listen, and be merry!
9am: Jonathan Winters' A Christmas Carol - Master comedian Jonathan Winters presents a distinctive reading of Dickens' holiday classic, with a special performing edition prepared by Dickens for his own presentations. 

10am: A Christmas Celtic Sojourn - Every year, Celtic Sojourn host Brian O'Donovan assembles some of the best musicians, singers, and dancers imaginable from around the Celtic world, and beyond! With music director Seamus Egan returning, his ground-breaking group Solas will be back on stage as well.

11am: An Afro-Blue Christmas - Howard University's premiere vocal ensemble Afro Blue, and special guest pianist Cyrus Chestnut, perform a variety of holiday songs including African-American spirituals, jazz and pop tunes, and classical repertoire. Hosted by Michele Norris.

12pm: Jazz Piano Christmas XXV- NPR Music brings you another great concert from Kennedy Center.  Lynne Arriale, Cyrus Chestnut, Harold Mabern, and Kris Davis perform their favorite holiday songs in a program hosted by Felix Contreras.

1pm: Jazz-O-Rama Christmas -Jazz-O-Rama is an hour of the lighter side of early jazz--presented by Joe Bevilacqua (Joe Bev)--from his personal 78rpm record collection.

2pm: All Songs Considered for the Holidays 2014 - Bob and Robin travel to outer space for the holidays.  It's going to be out of this world!

3pm: Fresh Air (Christmas Edition)
