Hundreds Of Bridges Need Repair

Ohio Department of Transportation records show more than 22 hundred bridges are structurally deficient but there is not enough money to fix them.  A bridge labeled structurally deficient means that it must be monitored and eventually repaired or replaced. ODOT records analyzed by the Dayton Daily News show the cost of bridge projects statewide has grown from 570 million dollar in 2003 to a projected 1 billion dollars in 2014.
