Bad weather will delay a statewide emergency drill scheduled for mid-week.
Ohio Emergency Management Agency officials say a statewide tornado drill has been pushed back two days because more wintry weather is on the way. Tornado sirens around the state were to blast Wednesday morning. But because another winter storm is on the way, the test has been delayed until 9:50 a.m. Friday. The test will last three minutes. The National Weather Service is forecasting a wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain starting Tuesday morning with a changeover to rain during the day. Rain is then expected to change over to snow Tuesday night into Wednesday, with heavy snow possible Wednesday in some southern parts of the state. Some low-lying areas could see flooding, too.
