ID Cards For Veterans Offered

Franklin County Recorder Terry Brown says veterans who file their military discharge papers will get a laminated identification card proving their status. Veterans also will have to show two forms of identification. The cost of the card is one dollar. Brown says the ID card will give vets better access to county, state and federal benefits and discounts at stores and restaurants. The cards will be available at Veterans Memorial Hall on West Broad Street today. Afterward, the cards will be available at Brown's office. Stark County Recorder Rick Campbell was the first official in Ohio to offer the cards.
