The Republican candidate for Hocking County prosecutor has withdrawn from the race after pleading guilty to obstructing official business and criminal trespassing. 36-year-old attorney Jason Sarver pleaded guilty as part of a plea bargain. He was indicted earlier this year on charges of having an affair with one of his clients. A complaint against Sarver is pending before the Ohio Supreme Court's disciplinary office.
